Congratulations go out to three of the firm’s partners — Merritt Yoelin, Stephen Kantor, and Jeff Cheyne — who have been named to the Oregon Super Lawyers list. This ranks them among the top attorneys in Oregon for 2012. No more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by Super Lawyers. Attorneys from Samuels Yoelin Kantor LLP have received recognition from Super Lawyers for the past seven years.
Merritt, Steve and Jeff are also Fellows of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). ACTEC is a nonprofit association of lawyers established in 1949. Its members are elected to the College by demonstrating the highest level of integrity, commitment to the profession, competence and experience as trust and estate counselors.
Three additional attorneys from the firm have been named to the Oregon Rising Stars list of top Oregon attorneys for 2012: Anthony J. Dal Ponte, who specializes in commercial litigation, fiduciary litigation and creditors’ rights; Ben Leedy, who specializes in real estate law; and Eric J.
