We’re pleased to announce that Van White, III has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Building Material Dealers Association (BMDA). He has been a member of the organization for nearly 20 years.
BMDA, a not-for-profit organization, serves the construction industry. BMDA is a Notice of Right to Lien provider, and assists material suppliers and contractors in Oregon and Washington in order to protect their construction lien rights/claims for payment. BMDA was founded in 1915, and the membership is comprised of hundreds of building material suppliers and contractors.
BMDA is important to the local construction industry, and the economies of Oregon and Washington in general, because it helps secure lien rights and payment claims for material suppliers and contractors on construction projects. They help businesses of all sizes get paid for the materials and services provided to construction projects.
Van says he is excited to join the board for a couple of reasons: the valuable service that BMDA provides to its members/customers, and their high quality of work. BMDA is known for accuracy, skill, punctuality, and its seasoned professional staff. The organization also has access to the most comprehensive title data base available.
