Portland, OR., July 24, 2012 – Samuels Yoelin Kantor LLP announced that three of the firm’s partners, Merritt Yoelin, Stephen Kantor, and Jeff Cheyne, have been named to the Oregon Super Lawyers list, ranking them among the top attorneys in Oregon for 2012. Mr. Yoelin has practiced in taxation, retirement and employee benefit plans, and estate planning for more than 40 years. Mr. Kantor is an accomplished business, estate, and trust attorney and educator with more than 30 years of experience in the planning and administration of complex issues. Mr. Cheyne represents individuals and businesses in the areas of estate, tax, business and real estate planning; he is a Portland Tax Forum board member and serves as Treasurer for the Oregon State Bar’s Estate Planning and Estate Administration Section. Mr. Yoelin, Mr. Kantor and Mr. Cheyne are all Fellows of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). ACTEC is a nonprofit association of lawyers established in 1949.
