March is almost upon us. That means Spring is coming. And so is Spring cleaning. It’s time for your clients to dust off their estate plans.
Join attorneys Eric Wieland and Anastasia Yu Meisner for an overview and discussion about the importance of having clients review their estate plans. Their “Estate Plan Checklist” will cover topics such as:
- Does your client understand their estate plan?
- Do your client’s supporting documents (Advanced Directives, Powers of Attorney, etc.) meet their needs?
- Are the nominated fiduciaries (Personal Representative, Guardian, Conservator, Trustee, Agent) still appropriate?
- Are the Beneficiary Designations up to date and complete?
This is part one of a two part series regarding estate planning. This first discussion centers around the “today”. The second will focus on the future.
